Double Up... on your Cleanser!
Im shouting it from the rooftops! "Cleansing your skin twice before bed is the single most important thing you can do to take care of your skin!"
The Double Cleanse (as we call it in the world of Esthetics) serves to
1. Remove dirt, oil and makeup
2. Cleanse and Condition your skin
Here are some hard and fast rules about double cleansing:
-Everyone should be double cleansing because it is the most gentle way to clean and prepare your skin for the rest of your skin care.
-Your first cleanse should always be oil based and yes, that includes oily skin type folks. Why? Well, oil removes oil and even helps balance oil production.
-You should apply your first cleanse on dry hands and massage onto dry skin and then rinse.
Choosing a first or second cleanser should be simple. And yes you can use your first cleanser as a second cleanser if it suits your skin.
